OUR SOLUTIONS
CPA-Led Accounting, Tax & Advisory Services
Solutions designed for growing businesses.
Clear Course Advisors integrates bookkeeping, tax planning and preparation, and advisory support under one CPA-led firm—so your monthly records, your tax strategy, and the decisions you make about growth all draw on the same set of numbers.
What We Do
Three Services, One Financial Picture
Bookkeeping
Monthly Books You Can Rely On
Bookkeeping is where financial clarity starts. We handle transaction categorization, bank and credit card reconciliations, and the monthly close, then deliver financial statements you can actually use—not a file you hand off once a year.
Engagements are overseen by a licensed CPA, and QuickBooks Online is our preferred platform. If your records are behind, cleanup and catch-up work comes first so the numbers you rely on are worth relying on.
Tax Planning & Preparation
Planning First, Filing Second
Most tax outcomes are decided long before a return is filed. We work year-round on entity structure, timing, deductions, and estimated payments so filing season confirms a plan rather than delivering a surprise.
Preparation and planning stay under one roof, which means the return reflects the decisions you made during the year and the books that support them.
Advisory & Fractional CFO
CFO-Level Insight Without a Full-Time Hire
Advisory is forward-looking work: cash-flow forecasting, budgets and financial models, KPI and management reporting, profitability and margin analysis, and support for financing, expansion, acquisition, and exit decisions.
Engagements are led directly by a CPA partner and scaled to your stage and complexity—monthly, quarterly, or project-based.
How It Fits Together
Why Bookkeeping, Tax, and Advisory Belong Together
Accurate books make tax planning possible, and tax planning is only as good as the records behind it. Advisory work—forecasting, budgeting, margin analysis—depends on both: a forecast built on unreconciled books tells you very little.
Keeping the three connected means a decision in one area accounts for the others. A hiring plan is modeled with its tax impact in view. An equipment purchase is timed with both cash flow and deductions in mind. Nothing gets re-explained to a third party who only sees part of the picture.
Not sure where your business sits on that spectrum? Our article on the difference between a bookkeeper, a controller, and a fractional CFO walks through what each level of support actually covers.
Choosing a Starting Point
Which Level of Support Do You Need?
Bookkeeping
You need accurate monthly records.
Reconciled accounts, a clean chart of accounts, and monthly financial statements that close on schedule. This is the foundation everything else depends on.
Tax
You need proactive planning and compliant preparation.
Year-round planning around structure, timing, and estimates, paired with accurate preparation and filing so compliance and strategy stay aligned.
Advisory & Fractional CFO
You need forecasting, cash flow, profitability, and strategy.
Forecasts, models, KPI reporting, margin analysis, and decision support for growth, financing, hiring, and transactions—CFO-level guidance without the full-time cost.

FAQ
Common Questions About Our Services
- Do I have to use all three services?
- No. Many clients start with bookkeeping or tax work and add advisory later as decisions get more complex. Each service stands on its own, and they are designed to work together when you want them to.
- Do you work with our existing CPA or bookkeeper?
- Yes. We regularly coordinate with an existing tax CPA, internal accounting staff, or an outside bookkeeper, and we provide the financials and information they need.
- Which accounting platform do you use?
- QuickBooks Online is our preferred platform because it integrates well with the tools most small businesses already use. We can work with other major accounting platforms as well.
- Can engagements be handled remotely?
- Yes. We use cloud accounting and secure client portals, so engagements can be handled entirely remotely, with in-person meetings across our Florida service areas where practical.
- How does pricing work?
- Bookkeeping is priced monthly based on transaction volume, complexity, accounts, payroll, and reporting needs. Tax and advisory engagements are scoped individually. Every engagement begins with a complimentary consultation.
